WHAT TO EXPECT ON YOUR FIRST VISIT
Please plan to stay 45 minutes to an hour for your first visit to Nickel City Physical Therapy. Here Dr. Myles Rowan will provide a full comprehensive initial evaluation of your current symptoms, give a diagnosis, and design a specialized treatment plan specific to your needs. Dr. Rowan believes communication, 1:1 patient care, and attention to detail are all essential components of your successful recovery. Please arrive 15 minutes early to your initial appointment to fill out all necessary forms.
LATE SHOW POLICY
Our providers know your time is important and we hope you understand the value of our time as well. We want to be able to provide every patient with all the attention they require. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, it may be necessary to reschedule for a later time or day, unless prior arrangements have been made. It is at the discretion of the provider to see the patient or to ask the patient to reschedule. If it is determined that the provider will see the patient, the patient arriving late maybe required to wait until an appropriate opening is available.
CANCELLATION / NO-SHOW POLICY
Nickel City Physical Therapy P.C. kindly requests 24 hours’ notice for cancelling an appointment. We do understand that sometimes circumstances arise that make giving this much notice impossible, we ask in those cases that you call us as soon as possible to avoid a No-Show fee. Excessive late cancellations (more than 3 times) will be subject to a $20.00 fee. Nickel City Physical Therapy P.C. will charge a $35.00 fee for all appointments missed without notification (No-Show). Please understand that you will be responsible for this charge and that your insurance company will not be billed for that day. Chronic no-show/same day cancellations may result in discharge from the practice for non-compliance with the Physical Therapist’s plan of care.
